Obstacle Course Racing

Team OTGL recently completed a Spartan Stadion Race at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, CA. This is a 5K that goes up and down stairs of the upper, middle, and lower decks inside the stadium and outside around the parking lot.

Along with the run, athletes must complete 20 obstacles including a rope climb, spear throw, z-wall, sandbag hoist, A-frame cargo net climb, wall hurdles, multi-rig rings and more! It’s a true test of speed, strength and willpower. The consequence for failing any obstacle is a penalty of 15 burpees. 

Although we had our share of leg cramps, burpees, and close calls, we are all thankful to have finished.  These medals are earned, not given and we are proud to have the distinct honor of calling ourselves Spartans.  Aroo! Aroo! Aroo!
