Gambling is not the only game in town. Try a Sunset Trail Ride! Located only minutes from the Vegas Strip is a horseback tour company called Cowboy Trail Rides. They are the best at what they do and it’s fun for the whole family!
They picked us up from our hotel in a shuttle bus and took us to their secluded ranch in the high desert mountains. It was an authentic and adventurous Old West experience in one of America’s most scenic and protected environments.
After meeting with the wranglers and mounting up at the stables, we rode off into the sunset in a magnificent desert setting on beautiful, well-trained horses.
We saw a variety of cacti, yucca, Joshua trees, bushes and flowers. Wild burros watched from rocky hillsides and hawks sailed above the canyons hunting ground squirrels. It was a sight to see!
If that weren’t enough, when we got back they served us a Western BBQ Dinner with a 16-oz. ribeye and all the fixings. For dessert, we gathered around the campfire for an old fashioned marshmallow roast, toasted s’mores and hot cocoa. We highly recommend this tour! Click here for more info.
